I have this hostahis and it looks good even as a young plant. I have seen it at our Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Missouri. It is a stunning piece of living sculpture when full grown and really stands out among the other hostas. Get this one. |

The deep ribs and cup-shaped leaves are quite nice and I haven't had any slug problems with them at all. I haven't found ADG to be a fast grower, although it is supposed to become very large. Last year was season three of the group of three I planted and the plants are approximately a foot to 18" in diameter. I anticipate that it will take another 6 or 7 seasons to approach full size. |

Such a Strong, Stout Plant! One of my favorites; I have actually seen small birds bathing in the water that collects in the large thick cupped leaves after a rain shower! Amazing. I wouldn't pass this one up for anything. The blue color is lovely, and this plant is very dependable. |
