I have more than 65 varieties of hostas and this is one of my favorites! The colors are beautiful and it's a grows quickly. The leaves emerge green and then the center changes to yellow. It's eye-catching and I know you'll enjoy having this hosta in your garden. Julie Smith, Iowa |

Wow I had a time with Captain Kirk, I think I stepped on it several times and I was sure it was lost. Last year a unknown hosta popped up in an odd place. Not being sure which one and seeing how week it was, I put a brass screened cage around it. By summers end it was large enough to move. This year I know for sure it is in fact Captan Kirk (resurrected) and it is doing very well. This is a very pretty hosta and I am glad I was able to save it. Hostas like a bit of drainage and they love to have there roots washed everyday in nice clean water. |

Gorgeous all the way thru July here in NE Indiana. Mid-August, starts going mostly green, but stays healthy looking. Very nice plant, good growth rate. Mine is in a late afternoon sunny spot. |
